It is absolutely true that age is just a state of mind. I was asked to set up a “Photo Booth” for a “young seniors” roaring twenties-themed event in Libertyville. I say “young seniors” because although some of their ages were almost into the triple digits (one couple was even celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary that day), they all danced, laughed, and goofed around for the camera like a bunch of high school kids. One of my favorite things that my late grandfather ever said was that his brain never aged after 18. These folks are absolutely in that same mindset. Here are a few of my favorite portraits from the night (some more goofy than others).
